Hello. I'm a Research Scientist in the Internet Experiences Group at Yahoo! Research. I study
motivations and incentives for online participation. I study perceptions
of trust, reliability, and security online. I study user-generated
content, social media, distributed work, and all other forms of online
collaboration. I use multiple methodologies like lab experiments, field
experiments, surveys, qualitative interviews, and social network
analysis. I draw from social psychology, behavioral economics,
anthropology, and sociology. I'm a husband and a dog owner. I'm a web
designer and a coder and a gamer. I'm a cooker and an eater and a
drinker and a music lover. Drop me a line.
